There may be instances when the details you provide upon joining a group could suggest information about your beliefs, political views, health conditions, or sexual identity. Such sensitive information, as well as other types, receive additional protection in compliance with the relevant laws. We kindly remind you that sharing personal or sensitive information about others without their consent goes against our Community Guideline.

1 Information we collect

1.1 Account informationWe collect your first and last name, organization name, email address, phone number, profile picture, user name, and other information you may choose to include in your profile/bio either when you sign up or at a later time, such as your gender, race or ethnicity, and demographic information. You may also choose to reveal information about yourself in your Marlo profile, or when you post or comment on Marlo, which is described in more detail below.If you contact support, you will need to provide us with your contact information and a description of the issue, or else we won’t be able to respond or provide support to you.
1.2. Log Information: We collect log information about your use of the Platform, including the type of browser that you use; the time, duration, and frequency of your access; Platform pages viewed; your IP address; and the page you visited before visiting our Platform.
1.3. Data from other accounts. If you use a third-party service, like Facebook, Google, or Apple to log in to Marlo (or if you connect a third-party account to your Marlo account at any other time), then you authorize that third-party service to share your personal information with us. This information may include your name, photo, email address, and any other information you agree to let the third-party service share with us. (The specific personal information shared with us will depend on the third party’s privacy practices, agreements we have with the third party, and any choices that you may make in sharing your personal information.)
1.4 Content Information. We collect content you create on our services, information about the content you create or provide, such as if the recipient has viewed the content and the metadata that is provided with the content.
1.5 Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device that you use to access our Platform, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
1.6 Camera, Photos, and Audio. Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device’s camera and photos. For example, you won’t be able to send or upload photos from your camera roll unless we can access your camera or photos.
1.7 Geolocation Information: We may collect information about the location of your device each time you use our Platform based on your consent to the collection of this information, such as when you enable location services. We may also collect information, such as your IP address, that can sometimes be used to approximate your location based on your device settings. As an example, without access to your location information, you won't be able to discover events or activities based on your current location.

The App is not designed for individuals under the age of 18. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 through the App without obtaining the necessary consent from the child's parent or guardian as mandated by law, we will promptly delete that information.
